So Fall 2010. It is coming whether we like it or not and I won’t tell you I’m ready, because I’m not. *yet*
What I am unexpectedly ready for though is the new hemline we’ll be reaching (hopefully) in a few months…and by reaching I means the hem line is dropping, *below the knee even!* and I have a secret love of skirts and dresses cut either at or right below the knee (added bonus if they are a-line) and I’m beyond beyond beyond thrilled.
How polished does Armani make it look?!
It’s clean, demure, and still fitted in every right place.

The tailoring below makes me actually want to wear pants with a jacket…and that, just never happens.
The fit is s nice. I love that there’s not a ton of thigh, only a hint of cleavage with some of them. I feel like it would be really refreshing to see a Lady in place of half of the Tramp we usually see… hmm.
So while Louis Vuitton would like to see us all in warm fall coats and pretty a line skirts:

I saw Ellie Saab send this down the fall runway and my jaw dropped as far as the neck line:

I guess….I’d love an endless summer, but if this is what’s up next for Fall, it may be more of a toss up about whether or not I’m ready!
